Cell Phones
Please refrain from cell phone use in all areas. Cell phones must be turned off before entering the spa area. Please speak in a “hushed” tone while you are receiving spa services so as not to disturb the guest in the next room.
Arrival Time
To insure your complete service and the quality of service that you deserve, it is very important to arrive on time. For spa services please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time, to change into a robe and be fully prepared at your appointed time.
Personal Belongings
To protect your clothing, please wear the robe that is provided. If your valuables are not locked in the spa lockers, please keep them with you at all times. We cannot be responsible for loss or damage of personal belongings.
Precautions
Please advise our professional staff of any medical conditions, allergies or sensitivities, if you are pregnant or if you are taking any medications.
Solarus maintains the highest standards of sanitation and sterilization of tools, equipment and laundered items. Combs and professional nail instruments are sealed in plastic after sanitation and whenever possible, disposable items are used. Pedicure units are sanitized and pipes are flushed out with anti fungal and anti bacterial fluids after each use.
Cancellations
Please provide a minimum of 24-hours notice for single service cancellations and 48 hours for multiple services. We reserve the right to assess a 50% cancellation fee if proper notification is not provided, and 100% cancellation fee for no shows. Credit card authorization is required to reserve appointments.
Gratuities
Gratuities are left to your discretion; however the standard for all service industries is 15%-20% for good service. For party groups, 18% gratuity is automatically applied. When services are discounted for any reason, please consider the actual value of the service vs. the discounted price. Shampoo assistants also depend on gratuities and greatly appreciate it when you allot a portion of your gratuities to them for good service. Unless noted on your gift card, gratuity is not included.
Method of Payment
We accept all major credit cards however we do not accept payment by check.
Children
We love children and welcome them for salon and spa services however we request that they be accompanied by an adult at all times. In order to guarantee uninterrupted service for you and other guests, we respectfully request that your children not accompany you during your services. We sometimes can make exceptions in the salon; however the spa environment can not tolerate even the slightest disturbance.
